If you follow me on my instagram (@glowwithjazjane), you may have seen this post. Today, I want to share with my readers my nighttime skincare routine. This routine is only for nights when I exfoliate, which is 2-3 times a week. Well anyways, here you go:
Just a couple of days ago, it was just the first day of Autumn. Now, it’s October. You know what that means? Scary movies. Fall fashion. Pumpkins. Fall decorations. Hot chocolate. Iced coffee. Thigh high boots. Freeform 31 Nights of Halloween.
I am so excited. This time of the year is really when I thrive. I am laser focused. I am excited about the holidays, cozy weather, the fashion.
If you are new here or maybe forgot, at the beginning of the month, I like to go in and write down a list of intentions and goals that I would like to accomplish.
Here are my intentions and goals for October 2020:
Continue to explore my new city
Try something new once a week (Last week, I tried a vegan “philly cheesesteak”.)
Wake up before or at 8
Write at least 1000 words a day. (Last month, my goal was 500.)
Wear my natural hair out more.
Get that nose piercing I couldn’t get in September
Get back on track with visualization .
Meditate at least 5 times a week.
Read more sci-fi. (start with Neuromancer by William Gibson)
Read Dracula and Frankenstein for Spooktober.
Read 5 Books.
Watch more German Shows.
Read more French Literature.
Continue my 212 Daily Streak on Duolingo.
Be kind to my body.
Track my calories.
Drink 2 liters of water everyday (I am really struggling with this.)
Eat out less
Workout at least 5x a week
Stretch daily (Zoom class is killing me.)
Have you set goals/intentions for October? Do we have any in common? Let me know in the comments.
If you asked me what am I wearing right now, the answer would be Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream. This is my current morning moisturizer. The Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel Cream is formulated with green tea leaf extract, aloe leaf juice, and sodium hyaluronate. These are wonderful moisturizing and hydrating ingredients, which makes this product suitable for dry skin, dehydrated skin, combo-dry skin, and normal-dry skin.
I love, absolutely love the jelly-like texture of this moisturizer. Another thing is that my skin soaks up this moisturizer, which I really love. It leaves my skin smooth, soft, and supple.
I apply this moisturizer after the Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum and before the Supergoop’s Unseen Sunscreen.
The Peach and Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum is an absolute fav of mine. This serum is formulated with niacinamide (good for oily, acne-prone skin) AND hyaluronic acid (good for dehydrated, dry skin). Niacinamide is recommended to regulate oil production and hyaluronic acid works wonders for dehydrated. This serum has kept my skin hydrated and the redness away.
I apply this serum in the morning and at night after applying my essence. I follow up with my gel-cream moisturizer. This serum works well with the other products in my routine. There is no piling. It has wonderful consistency and I love the watery texture.
If you have combo skin, I definitely recommend this product.
